Once you have found the form for your search, select the sites to search. You can choose as many sites as you want, but you must choose at least one. In the future, theinfo.com will provide descriptions of each the sites available to search. A quick way to select all available the sites is to press the button. You can also use the button to clear the form.

Next, enter your search text into the box. The button pastes the text from your previous search into this box, which is handy if you would like to search for the same text on more than page or form.

When you're ready to begin the search, press the button. A new window will open for each site that you selected. The windows are tiled across the screen. Please be advised that selecting too many sites to search may slow down your machine because each window will require internet bandwidth to complete its search, and may also slow your computer's processor. Close any windows once you are finished with them.

Warning: opening too many browsers at once may crash your browser. This is more likely to happen if your system has less memory available.

If you are using Netscape 3, in the search windows will all open on top of each other--upgrading to Netscape 4 or IE 4 is strongly recommended. This site will not function correctly with IE 3.

That's all you need to know. Happy searching at theinfo.com.
